Messy Church...
Messy Church at Holy Ascension began in September 2010. Sessions are always well supported with between 60-80 people (at least 30-40 children.) Liz Foden, who now leads this service for children, is ably assisted by Margaret Adams (our Family Worker) and a band of volunteers.
An interactive Bible story and craft activities invite children to consider the messages behind bible stories followed by Messy tea.
Parents, grandparents and helpers have as much fun joining the activities in this informal and relaxed environment.
'I enjoy the involvement with the young families and seeing the excitement and enthusiasm of the children.' Vera G (helper)
'We like doing fun activities and having a party tea with friends.' Harry & Millie
'My children Neve and Nikita came for the first time and they enjoyed the craft work.'
So why not join us?
