School Visits

We are pleased to offer school visits to our church to study the building, to learn more about special services and to celebrate special occasions during the school year such as Harvest, Christmas, Easter and end of school year services. Special visits can also be arranged for groups looking at Christian baptism and marriage. The church has had several dressing up costumes made and relevant craft making and celebratory activities are available to facilitate an interactive educational visit for around 30 pupils aged up to 10 years. Assemblies

We go into  the schools within the Parish each Wednesday afternoon to take assemblies and facilitate faith discussions within the classroom. Please contact the office on 01244 383518 for more information.

Uniformed Organisations

Holy Ascension Church has good links with our uniformed organisations. On Remembrance Sunday the whole community gathers together to remember those who have given their lives in the service of others. 

Membership of all uniformed groups is in great demand. You are advised to  register your child's name for a place at the earliest opportunity.

All these groups urgently need volunteers to support them with their invaluable activities. Please  contact them as soon as you can if you are able and willing to help.
